The owner's annual budget for adveristing was expended on occasional advertisements in the local press and a rather large subscription to a national organisation whose aim is to promote guest houses; neither of these were very effective.

 

Since the website was published in May 2005, there have been thousands of visitors, with the figure for a typical month being 200. Many bookings have been made following initial contact via the Internet
